Jason Holley is an artist, illustrator, teacher, and musician living in Los Angeles who teaches illustration at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. His incredibly detailed art is actually painted images and paper collaged together. He takes disparate materials and uses them to take disparate subject matters and somehow work them together into a united and beautiful whole. His work manages to be strong and delicate at the same time, and always beautiful.
Thanks so much for sharing.
A great way to start the day!
I can see a little of Mark Ryden in this work. Very Californian in its style, I think. I like the distressed bounds for the work – is it on wood?
I also see that Ande – I am not sure if it’s on wood. I will try to find out.
