…and now a word Jennifer
Hi, I am Jennifer Judd-McGee. I hate writing bios in the third person so I’m not going to try to do that here. I am a full time artist and mother to two fantastic and funny children. I work from my basement studio on Mount Desert Island, a beautiful place along the coast of Maine. I’m a nature lover, obsessive doodler, path finder, and appreciator of paper, fine point pens and detailed patterns. I’m inspired on a daily basis by my coastal surroundings and close proximity to Acadia National Park. My favorite mediums are papercutting, illustration and mixed media collage, though lately I’ve taken a major shine to monoprinting as well. I regularly show my original work in galleries, sell pigment prints and cards in my Etsy shop, and am represented for licensing and illustration projects by Lilla Rogers Studio. Recent clients I’ve had the pleasure to work with include MTA Arts for Transit Program for the New York City Subway, Taproot Magazine, Storey Publishing, Target, The Art Group, Hallmark, Modern Twist, IPOP, Timberland, CLYNK, and The Land of Nod, among others.
