Sophie Standing was born in England and grew up in Hampshire. She studied wood, metal, ceramics and textiles at Liverpool Hope University. Since graduating, Sophie has worked as an artist in many different mediums, including works in ceramics, stained glass windows, weaving, dress making and more recently experimenting with textile art.

Nick Bantock is known throughout the world for his art, for his writing and particularly for his marriage of the two. His books have topped many best seller lists and have been translated into a multitude of languages. His first Griffin and Sabine trilogy stayed on the NY Times best seller list for over two years. His art hangs in private collections all over North America and Europe and in 2011 he was given a major retrospective exhibition at the MOA in Denver. Scott Musgrove, born in 1966, currently lives and works in Seattle, Washington. He received a BFA from Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio. Musgrove works with wood, bronze, oil paint, watercolors, ink and pencil. The artist’s paintings and sculptures have been exhibited in galleries across the country including in New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Seattle and San Francisco. He has been featured in numerous publications such as The New York Times.

Caia Koopman is a preeminent pop surrealism artist who has been featured in prominent galleries from California to Canada and France. Over the years, her paintings have graced the walls of Thinkspace, Spacejunk, and La Luz De Jesus Galleries as well as the pages of numerous books and magazines. The appealing symbols in her work evoke fundamental human emotions in exquisite, surreal detail making them well received in the action sports industry as well as the fine art world. Lou Beach (nee Andrzej Lubicz-Ledóchowski) was born in Göttingen, Germany in 1947, the son of Polish parents displaced by the Second World War. The family emigrated to Rochester, NY in 1951 where Lou attended public schools and junior college. He travelled to California in 1968 where he began his artistic career by making assemblage art and studying the Surrealists, visiting galleries and museums, and creating collages from pictures cut from old Life magazines. He worked during this time in bookstores, as a delivery man, moved furniture, and ran a punch press and forklift. A road trip across country, ostensibly to travel on to Europe from the East Coast, brought him to Boston where he lived from 1972 until 1979, much of the time as the sexton at the famous Arlington St. Church. There he created collages in earnest and had his first one man show at the newly established Boston Center For The Arts, as well as being hired for several illustration assignments.

Jessica Liggero holds a BFA (Cum Laude) in painting and drawing from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. Her work consists of mixed media abstract portraits on paper that address the roles of identity and introspective curiosity. Also an amateur boxer, more recently, she has begun using her experiences as a fighter to shape both her painting process and subject matter.

Scott Silvey was raised in the fields and woodlands of central Indiana. After receiving a degree in psychology from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, he went on to earn an M.F.A. in sculpture from Georgia State University in Atlanta. He has presented his work in both solo and group exhibitions across the United States and abroad. Anca Gray is a romanian born, chicago based artist with a background in architecture and a passion for gathering community around the table. Her work explores the life and history contained in discarded vintage books, antique lace and doilies, kitchen scraps and other assorted bits of found objects. She works these collected fragments into abstract paintings, allowing their stories to work with her own biases of brokenness and wholeness, of being and becoming. Her work is a relentless search for poetry in the debris, an affirmation of life and possibility.

Stefan Thompson makes drawings and paintings with very particular materials. All paints are homemade with special care taken to ensure pigments, mediums and solvent are “nontoxic.” Paper and textiles are recycled. Beeswax is a strong component of the work.

Brian William Buzzella (born July 27, 1984) is a self taught, American painter currently based out of Miami, Florida. Brian’s work is said to be of a progressive dynamic and transcending nature, drawing upon the abandoned and pursued weight within a contemporary age. His work focuses on the subconscious interpretations of communication, perspective and the underlying conditions between oneself and the external world.

I was born and grew up in a rural area of Co. Roscommon in the west of Ireland. In 2000 I completed a one-year art portfolio preparation course in Galway Technical Institute. In The Limerick School of Art & Design, I received my Bachelor Degree in Fine Art, Painting in 2005.

Paolo Petrangeli was born in Norcia, Italy in 1985. He moved to Rome where he graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts. Dream-like environments characterise his paintings, inhabited by characters with delicate features typical of childhood, with a sensitive and nostalgic soul but with the sensitive and wistful disenchantment typical of adulthood. The imaginary that affects the art of Petrangeli ranges from horror movies to Japanese role-playing games like Final Fantasy and especially anime and manga. About the success of Pop Surrealism he declares that “this artistic flow is enjoyable by everyone and immediate.
