Born and raised and currently living in Los Angeles, Alexandra Bellissimo has always been motivated towards the creation of unique imagery. Her imagery explores the physical and psychological relation between nature and human beings when combined through the use of collage.

Artist Addie Lynn Rementer grew up on the east coast in Cape May, New Jersey where she was surrounded by an artistically diverse family. Addie began her formal art training at Naropa University in Boulder,Colorado where she earned her BA in visual arts. It was at Naropa that she developed a talent for self expression through the medium of painting as well as a regard for the spiritual and healing aspects of art. Following her years in Boulder, Addie moved to Santa Cruz,California because of a job offer to create over 30 custom original paintings for her aunt’s home in Sacramento. (Photos coming soon). Today, Addie runs her greeting card and custom art business from her Santa Cruz studio and participates in the Open Studios art tour every October.

Marti Somers takes you into her world of whimsical canvases and playful narration as she explores the fragility of nature in contrast to modern life, the human form in balance with other living creatures, and ultimately, the magic found in an ordinary day. Her paintings offer up hope for the observer as well as raise questions of deep concern. "Will Earth survive us?" she asks.

Erik Jones was born in 1982 in a sunny beach community in St. Petersburg, Florida. He received a bachelor’s degree from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2007. Out of college, working primarily in cover illustration, Erik toured the US, showing at different pop culture and art conventions. He gradually made his way to Brooklyn, New York in 2009, where he now resides. Erik now focuses on painting primarily for, but not limited to, galleries.

Tamara Muller’s faces are almost always her own. They are stylized but rendered with an uncanny realism. Other parts of the canvas may be blocked in with simple brushwork or even left unfinished, because it is those faces that matter. They are not self portraits in the basic sense. Each one is a role although the role itself is sometimes vague, flickering between man, animal, woman, child, seducer, victim, sometimes combinations of two or more. There is a tension in them, between the presumed innocence of youth and the transgressive desires and guilt of adulthood. This disturbing psychological dichotomy is carefully balanced by a visual sense of wit and humor. Tamara Muller’s work is an unfolding and unflinching portrait of the self. And the accumulating body of that work is continually adding weight to its depth.

Dominique Fortin was born in Montreal (Qc) in 1974. Graduated in fine arts at Cegep de Saint-Laurent in 1997 and in jewelry at École des métiers du Sud-Ouest in 2000, she has been a full-time painter artist since 2003.

Malgorzata Lazarek is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Graphic Arts in Katowice.

Elusive Muse is thrilled to introduce watercolor artist Noon from Thailand.

Jane Davies is a full-time artist working in collage, painting, and encaustics. She offers workshops at her studio and nationwide, focusing on helping people to find a personal and playful approach to creating. Beginning as a potter in the early nineties, Davies gradually transitioned into freelance art, using painting and collage as her medium. For the past several years she has put most of her efforts towards teaching, writing and having fun making art. She is the author of three books on collage and mixed media, one on ceramics, and has one DVD on painting and collage techniques.

When Elusive Muse was trying to select a collection of “favorite” illustrations created by Nicoletta Pagano, the task seemed almost impossible because each and every piece she has created is nothing short of spectacular.

My work is a celebration of contrasts focusing mainly on portraits and figures with a prevalence of opposing artistic influences. My inspiration walks a tightrope between high and lowbrow sources as diverse as Comics, Illustration, Character Design, Tattoo art and Graffiti to Abstract Expressionism, Cubism, Futurism, Art Noveau, Modernism and Constructivism all pulled together to create hyper-stylized and abstracted works.

Maggie Taylor received her BA degree in philosophy from Yale University in 1983 and her MFA degree in photography from the University of Florida in 1987. After more than ten years as a still life photographer, she began to use the computer to create her images in 1996.

Helen Warner is a fine art photographer living and working in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Originally from Toulouse in the South West of France, Helen is a graduate of The Queen’s University of Belfast where she mastered in Cinema and Modernism.
